【No.10-01】【Blender】[Beginner] HOW TO CREATE ANIMATION

Color change

First, change the color of the cube from “red” to “green”.

* The change will be completed in 60 frames.

As a preliminary preparation, start blender and open the initial screen.

Expand the timeline window for easy viewing

Click the cube displayed on the screen.

Click the white part of “Base color” in “Material properties”.

A screen where you can select a color opens, so click the red part to change the color

Make sure that the frame position is “1”

Place the mouse pointer on the part where the color of “Base color” has changed, and right-click.

Click Insert Keyframe.

Confirm that the key frame is displayed in the frame of “1”.

Change the position of the frame to “60”.

Click the red part of “Base color” in “Material properties”.

A screen where you can select a color opens, so click the green part.

Place the mouse pointer on the part where the color of “Base color” has changed, and right-click.

Click Insert Keyframe.

Confirm that the keyframe is displayed in the “60” frame.

Settings to output video files

Click “Output Properties” to set the playback range of the video.

Set “frame Start” to “1” and ” frame End” to “60”.

To set the folder to output the video file, click the “folder icon” in the column under “output”.

Create a folder called “Blender Test” on the desktop and save the video file in it.

After creating the folder, click “OK”.

Confirm that the file path set arbitrarily is displayed in the field under “Output”.

When you want to change the format of the output file, select File Format

Here I will choose FFmpeg video format.

Show animation

Next, set the camera side. Press 0 (zero) on the numeric keypad to move the object to the center of the camera.

Press the spacebar on your keyboard to run it and the video preview will play repeatedly.

Rendering

Next, let’s render a video file!

Click the “Render” tab in the menu bar at the top of the screen, then click “Render Animation”.

Then, a screen called “Blender Render” will open and the video file output will start.

This screen does not close automatically, so close the window when the Frame at the top right of the screen reaches 60.

Finally, check if the video file is saved in the set save destination

Next, after enlarging the cube, try returning it to its original size. Do the same for 60 frames to complete the change.

Click on the cube to select it.

Make sure that the frame position is “1”.

With the mouse pointer over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Scale to set it to a keyframe.

Confirm that the key frame is displayed in the frame of “1”.

Change the position of the frame to “30”

Change the scale X, Y, Z values ​​of “Transform” from “1.000” to “2.000”.

With the mouse pointer over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Scale to set it to a keyframe.

Confirm that the keyframe is displayed in the “30” frame.

Change the position of the frame to “60”.

Change the scale X, Y, Z values ​​of “Transform” from “2.000” to “1.000”.

With the mouse pointer over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Scale to set it to a keyframe.

Shrink-Fatten

Next, reduce the cube and then restore it to its original size. Do the same for 60 frames to complete the change.

At frame 1, press “I” key then click on “Scale” to set the keyframe for it.

Change the position of the frame to “30”.

Change the scale X, Y, Z values ​​of “Transform” from “1.000” to “0.500”.

With the mouse pointer over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Scale to set it to a keyframe.

Change the position of the frame to “60”.

Change the scale X, Y, Z values ​​of “Transform” from “0.500” to “1.000”.

Press the I key, then click Scale to place the keyframe at frame 60.

Move

Move Left and right (Y axis)

Next, let’s move the cube left and right (on the Y-axis) to return it to its original position. Do the same for 60 frames to complete the change.

Click the cube displayed on the screen.

At frame 1, press I and then click Location to place the keyframe

We will see that the keyframe is placed on frame 1 like this.

Change the frame position to 20

Change the value of position Y of “Transform” from “0m” to “10m”.

With the mouse pointer hovering over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Position to set it to a keyframe.

Confirm that the keyframe is displayed in the “20” frame.

Change the frame position to 40.

Change the value of position Y of “Transform” from “10m” to “-10m”.

the object’s position has moved to the opposite side.

Press I and then click on Location to set the keyframe for frame 40

Change the frame position to 60

Change the value of position Y of “Transform” from “-10m” to “0m”.

Now ,the Object move back to its original position

With the mouse pointer hovering over the object, press “i” on your keyboard and click Position to set it to a keyframe.

Move Up and down (Z axis)

Next, I will try to move up and down the Object

Select the Object

At frame 1

Press the I key, then click Location to set the keyframe

Confirm that the key frame is displayed in the frame of “1”

Change the frame position to 20

Change the value of position Z of “Transform” from “0m” to “10m”.

Press the I key, then click on Location to set the keyframe for frame 20

Change the frame position to 40

Change the value of position Z of “Transform” from “10m” to “-10m”.

Press the I key, then click on Location to set the keyframe for frame 40

Change the frame position to 60

Change the value of position Z of “Transform” from “-10m” to “0m”.

Press the I key, then click on Location to set the keyframe for frame 60

Rotation (Y axis)

Next, try to rotate the Object in the direction of the Y axis.

Select the Object

Press I and then click on Rotation to place the keyframe on frame 1

Change the frame position to 60

Change the Rotation Y value from “0 °” to “360 °”.

Press I key and click on Rotation to place the keyframe on frame 60

Combine Movement

When all the movements are combined, the animation looks like this. All animations are completed in 120 frames.
