I’m Ayana, a Vtuber!
Today, I will explain how to save a project.
It is necessary to save the project when you close the project in the middle of working on the project.
It can also be saved automatically every specified interval of time in case of emergency. Auto-save projects are stored in separate folders, so if you save multiple projects, you can also restore them!
First, let’s take a look at how to save your project!
In the menu, from File ->select Save.
A dialog box appears. Select a destination in this window. Make sure to name the file so that it doesn’t get mixed up with other projects! Finally, press [Save].
You can save easily by pressing Ctrl+S the next time you save! Please remember this shortcut key!
Next, we’ll explain how to set up automatic project saving!
From Edit- Preferences- select Auto -Save
This is how the Auto Save setting window appears.
[Save Every] allows you to change the time interval for automatic saving.
The Maximum Project Version allows you to set the maximum number of projects to save. Increasing the number allows you to restore the project back easily. However, when you increase the number of projects, a lot of space on your computer will be consumed.
Next, set the location of the file to be saved automatically at the Auto-save Location.
You can select from two choices of Auto-save location to save automatically: “Next to project” or “Custom Location”.
Selecting “Next to project” will automatically create a folder called Adobe After Effects in the same location where the project is stored and will automatically save the project in that folder.
Selecting the “Custom Location” allows you to specify where your projects will be automatically saved.
This concludes the explanation on how to save a project!
