I’m Ayana, a Vtuber!
Today, I will explain how to export video for DVD・BD .
If you want to create DVDs or Blu-ray discs, you must first export them from Premiere Pro and burn them to a disc using authoring software.
Please note that Premiere Pro does not allow you to burn discs!
Authoring software varies from free to paid, so please consider your options beforehand.
Export video for Blu-ray Disc (BD)
First, I’ll try exporting a video file for Blu-ray Disc (BD)!
File -> Export -> select Media
Export Settings window is displayed.
At Format select 「H.264 Blu-ray」.
At Preset select 「HD 1080i 29.97」.
In the Video tab, you can change the quality of your video with Bitrate Settings. When you increase Bitrate, the video size will increase. In the Bitrate Encoding section, consider CBR as image quality priority and VBR as data size priority.
You can estimate the file size here. There is a limit to the exporting size to the disk. Errors may appear if the file size is over the limit size. Please make sure that the file has plenty of room left.
Click the Export button to start the exporting progress.
Export video for DVD
Next, I’ll try to export a video file for DVD!
At Format select 「MPEG2-DVD」.
At Preset select 「NTSC DV Wide」.
As for the Bitrate setting, if it’s a video within an hour long, it’s OK to use CBR!
DVDs also have an estimating limit. Please be sure to check the estimated file size!
After clicking Export, the exporting progress will begin!
This concludes my explanation on how to export video files for DVD・BD.
