Hello everyone!
I’m Ayana, a Vtuber!
Today, I will explain about clip playback and playback speed control

Let’s begin!
Let’s start!
Change clip playback speed
How to make a clip into slow motion

First, let’s talk about how to make a clip into slow motion.
Select the clip you want to make slow motion, right-click and select “Speed/Duration”.

① Setting the speed to 50% doubles the duration and halves the playback speed.
② Check “Reverse Speed” to play the clip in reverse.
③ Checking “Maintain audio pitch” reduces the difficulty of hearing the sound while the video is sped up or in slow motion.
④ If you check “Ripple edit, shifting trailing clips”, the width of the clip will change when you increase the speed or slow motion, but if you check this, the subsequent clips will move together.
⑤ Click the OK button to change the clip speed.

In this way, the duration is doubled and the playback speed is halved.
How to fast-forward clips

Now let’s talk about how to fast-forward clips.
Select the clip you want to fast forward, right-click and select “Speed/Duration”.

① Setting the speed to 200% halves the duration and doubles the playback speed.
② Now let’s uncheck “Shift subsequent clips after change”.
③ Click the OK button to change the clip speed.

In this way, the duration is halved and the playback speed is doubled.
How to change the speed to match the duration

How to change the speed to match the duration

Select the original clip and delete it with the Delete key on your keyboard to place the new clip.
Add Frame Hold

Now let’s see how to Add Frame Hold.
Select the clip whose frame you want to hold, right-click and select “Add Frame Hold”.

Then, the frame at the position where the playhead was located in this way is held and subsequent clips become the same frame.
Insert Frame Hold Segment

Similarly, select the clip whose frame you want to retain, right-click and select “Insert Frame Hold Segment”.

Then, the frame at the position where the play head was like this is held and the frame at that position is inserted for 2 seconds.
