I’m Ayana, a Vtuber!
Today, I will explain how to change playback speeds with time remapping.
Preparation for speed change
If you double-click on this empty space, the width of the track will be rendered wider.
Right-click the “fx” button and select “Time Remapping” → “Speed”.
Then it will be displayed like this.
Create key frame
Then, create a keyframe for the first and last positions of the part you want to change the speed!
① This delays the timing of some people walking.
② Click the round button to place a keyframe at the playhead position. This position is the first timing of the Slow motion.
① I want to finish the Slow motion one step forward.
② Create a keyframe in the same way. This position becomes the end timing of the Slow motion effect.
Then, the two keyframes are struck like this.
Change playback speed
Once the position of the key frame is decided, the speed is changed.
Dragging this part called the “Rubber band” to the bottom slows down the playback speed, and dragging it to the top speeds up the playback speed. This time, slow down the playback speed.
Like this, only the part where the rubber band is in the lower position is slow!
Make a video that plays in reverse
Next, let’s try reverse playback during playback! This can also be made with the “Time remap” function.
By the way, “Palindrome Reverse Playback” refers to a play that “suddenly starts reverse playback, rewinds, and starts playback again.”
Hit the keyframe at the moment you’d like to begin reverse playback.
Then hold down the Ctrl key and drag the keyframe.
Then, it becomes three key frames like this.
① The start position of reverse playback.
② The turn back position. Playback will start from here as usual.
③ Returns to the original position at the timing.
Reverse playback has been completed!
This concludes the lesson on time remapping!
