Let’s begin!

Let’s start!

The “Adjustment Layer” is used when you want to apply effects to multiple clips.

Create Adjustment Layer

Create Adjustment Layer

Click New Item and select “Adjustment Layer”

Adjustment Layer settings

①Set the same as the sequence

②Click [ OK ]

Place the adjustment layer

Place the newly created Adjustment layer on the upper track of the clip to which you want to apply the effect.

Please note that the effect will be applied to the clips on the tracks below the Adjustment layer!

Adjust the length

Adjust the duration of the Adjustment layer in this way.

Apply effects to adjustment layers

Let’s actually apply the effect!

Select effect

This time we will use Lumetri Presets→Cinematic→Cinespace 100 !

Apply effects to adjustment layers

Apply the effect to the Adjustment layer!

Checking the effect

①② Check the Effect applied to the Adjustment layer in the effect control panel.

③ The effect is firmly applied with “Lumetri color (Cinespace 100)”.

It is a video comparison without adjustment layer and with adjustment layer

Let’s check it on the program monitor! I compared “without adjustment layer” and “with adjustment layer”. If you have “Adjustment layer”, the effect is applied to all video clips!

Now you can apply the effect to multiple clips using the Adjustment layer!
