Layout Project Panel
Here is the project panel layout! The imported data, sequences, and bins are displayed here.
Create new bin
Each material clip is stored and managed in a “bin” that has the same role as a folder.
You can create a new bin by clicking the folder mark at the bottom right of the project panel!
Change the name of bin
You can change the name of bin here.
Store clip in bin
You can store them in the bin by dragging and dropping the clips in this way.
You can view the contents of the bin by double-clicking on the bin.
On the tab, the currently expanded bin is displayed.
You can move to a higher hierarchy by clicking the button on the upper left.
Creating separate clips
You can create a separate clip from the new item button at the bottom right.
Delete sequences and clips
To delete a sequence or clip, select it and click the delete button at the bottom right.
Change icon size and preview clips
The icon size can be changed by dragging the zoom slider on the lower left.
You can preview the video by moving the cursor on the thumbnail. This function is called “Hover scrub”.
Be careful not to drag the cursor!
Drag slider to preview
If you click on a clip to activate it, a slider will appear, allowing you to “drag” the playhead to preview as well. Drag the cursor here!
Change display method of project panel
Next, I will explain another way to display the Project panel!
Click the list display button at the bottom left to change to “List view”.
Please be assured that the display method has just changed!
Create new bin
Similarly, you can create a new bin from the “New Bin” button in the lower right.
Unfolding the bin
You can expand the bin by clicking this arrow on the left side of the bin.
You can move clips by dragging and dropping as before!
This is the end of the explanation of the operation of the project panel!
